Looking through the mirror

I look at Zach tonight playing on his phone concentrating on whatever game he's tinkering with. He does his mouth with this funny little pucker when he's concentrating and when I look at him I see our girl. Life is amazing, what a perfect mix of the two of us she is becoming already! Amazing, God is great.

So my hubby has this joke; Everytime he goes on travel I paint something or do some crazy project I would never attempt when he was home. Well this time he's been gone for almost a week and I was tired of my dirty looking bathtub. So off to homedepot I went. (Ps sorry for all the grammatical errors, I blog from my phone and it's hard to go fix stuff). Well in a smarter world I probably should have bought a bath kit but my frugal ways just couldn't break down and pay $100. So I opted for a 123 primer that actually showed my very bathroom tile being primed for paint. Then I bought rustoleum oil paint and a sealer. So after spending about $20 I headed home to get my project going and finished. I'm uneasy about the durability but in love with the sparkling crisp clean feeling the tub has now. I can't wait for it to finish curing and letting me jump in to take a shower. Fingers crossed it can withstand the test of time!!!! 😁

Sleepless nights

So for the past week I have been unable to sleep. My body is so tired but Everytime I lay down my mind won't stop and I toss and turn for hours. It's so annoying!!! Apparently mini me has no trouble!

Not soon enough

Tonight I Reunited my friendship with an ole highs hook buddy Allie Child's. She has grown up to be such an I spring powerful woman with two beautifully handsome boys, Bryse and Brooks. We had a great home cooked meal that Miss Allie prepared herself, great conversation, and of course great wine! Cheers to a goodnight andeeting up with friends that we have let way too much time pass us by.

Oil pulling, have you heard of it?

Apparently you swish organic unrefined cocunut oil in your mouth for 20 minutes a day them spit it out (not in the sink). This is supposed to whiten your teeth, assist with pain pain management (TMJ), and pull all the nasty toxins out of your body hence helping you feel better from bad allergies, hangover, migraines etc. HMmmmmmmmm, I think I may have to give this oil pulling a try for a week. Let me know if you do too. :)

ER VIsit with my mom.... You know it's too late when....

The nurse goes to stick a catheter in and says oh crap I accidentally stuck it in your Whoha". Then the other nurse goes wow it's not everyday you hear a girl say, " I accidentally stuck it in her ..." Bahahaha my poor mom is sitting on table while all 3 of us women are laughing till we cry. I don't know maybe you had to be here. On a lighter note hope mom is OK! Xox

Zoey helping me cook Pinterest Chic FIl A sandwiches. All I could sing while doing it was "I'm a redneck woman.... With a baby on my hip"! Ps the secret is marinade chicken for an hour in pickle juice tasted almost like the real thing. Good stuff!

So I had an 11 pound baby a year and a half ago and gained a million and one pounds. This weight loss has been one of the biggest struggles of my life but I am happy to report that I am down 20 pounds since the end of November. I still have tons to lose but I am finally seeing some progress. Yay!

My afternoon project was an attempt to turn a boring entertainment center into something out of the pages of Pottery Barn. What do you think? I am pleased with how it turned out :)

Productiveness

My day had been full of productiveness. First thing woke up got dressed, zoey dressed, diaper bag packed, breakfast done and us out the door. Went atqnd cleaned some houses and was done by noon. Then picked up a  friend  took her grocery shopping then hauled al l her stuff up 2 flights of stairs. (She just had  surgery can't lift anything right now.). Who needs a gym right?! Then home to throw dinner in a crockpot and  a little R & R with my hubbs. Tomorrow I start a new part time job. Excited and hope it works out for the best :)

Bachelor left me hanging....

So I  don't watch much tv but this season Juan Pablo has me hooked. I can't wait to see what happened in tomorrow's episode with Andi. We all know she's the next seasons bachelorette so he obviously didn't pick her  but dang it for not making tonight's just one extremely long episode! Please tell me I'm  not the only one googling every spoiler altert possible to get the scoop on what happens?! Lol

Sunday funday

Well another Sunday and we overslept and missed church. I think we are going on week 4 of no church just call us a bunch of heathens. So with nothing better to do here in Brownwood Zach, Zoey and I packed up and headed to the big ole town of Abilene. One stop to TJ Max where Zoey and I sniffed out all the MK purses,then off to the mall for a little taste of food court pizza and indecent exposure. Ya, apparently the yoga pants I decided to wear today are completely see through!!! Ugggg embarrassing like something out of a sitcom. Imagine me strapping Zoey in her stroller to Zach going ummmmm I think we better go buy you some new pants. I mean I love shopping and new clothes but would rather it be on my own count not because I am showing my entire backside off with my shear pants. Well I never found new pants but I did invest in a longer shirt. Epic fail on these yoga pants I wonder why no one in my yoga class has ever told me they can see all my goodies. Wardrobe epic fail.
